Minerals Ministry Eyes For Increased Contributions Of The Financial Sector

THE Minister of Minerals,  Mr. Anthony Mavunde this afternoon, October 5, 2023, leads a special forum tailored to brainstorm over the contributions of the financial sector for the smooth metamorphosis of the mining sector. 

Convening in Serena Hotel in Dar es Salaam City,  the timely gathering attracts the delegates from at least ten financial institutions from the public and the private sector. 

Among others, the institutes that are operating under the umbrella of the Tanzania Banker's Association ( TBA) CRDB, NMB, NBC, BOA, and AMAN Bank.

However, the forum also attracts  workers from the country’s mining sector, service providers, as well as the small-scale, middle and larger miners.

"We have decided to organise this gathering with a patriotic spirit to chart better ways through which the financial sector can stand a better side to pay needed contributions towards improving the performance of mining sector in the country, " Minister Ma to inform this publication on the sideline of the vital meeting.
